Water Wrap

The fabric is quick drying, and wicks moisture and sweat away from the skin. Soft, finished edges are comfortable against your baby's thighs, and it has the added protection against the sun of UPF45 (UV Protection Factor)--it blocks 97.5% to 98% of the suns rays to help prevent sunburn of the covered skin.
The narrow width of this wrap, along with the tapered ends, means less wet fabric, and cooler wearing out of the water, with the added bonus of folding down real small to fit in your beach or pool bag.
Use the water wrap for showering with a baby who doesn't want to be put down. Use it in the shallow end of a pool or the shallow end of the ocean. This is a tool to help you keep up with and have fun with your older kids while staying close to baby, but it can also be the easiest way to experience the world of water with your baby safely. I also carry many beautiful wraparound carriers not intended for water use--but amazing on dry land!
The sun-blocking properties of this fabric are due to the fabric's weave rather than any other treatments, so no special detergents, etc. are necessary when washing this wrap. Machine wash in cool or warm water (NOT hot!) on gentle cycle. Ideally you will line-dry your water wrap, but you may also machine-dry on low heat or air-dry. If your machine is a top-loading machine with an agitator, secure your wrap in a pillowcase or mesh sweater bag before washing. This will keep the fabric from wrapping tightly around the agitator and becoming strained, which would cause premature wear or even damage in your fabric. If you are machine drying, do so separately from other clothing to avoid tangling.
