Albert combines thinner and wider stripes in several shades of orange--from red grapefruit to tangerine to mustard--for a bright hot effect!
Storchenwiege wraps are perfect for front, back and hip carries with newborns, toddlers, even pre-schoolers! They can be machine washed and it is recommended that you hang to dry.
Storchenwiege wraps are made of 100% cotton and are Oeko-Tex certified--a certification which involves stringent testing for harmful chemicals.
Storchs are famously strong, supportive, and durable, with just the right amount of diagonal stretch to hug your baby while holding him in place. They have tapered ends--no fringe--for easier knot-tying and smaller knots.
Each Storchenwiege carrier comes with a detailed instruction booklet with great tips for getting a good wrap job.
A family owned business, Storchenwiege was born of one woman's need for the perfect babycarrier for her grandbabies: durable, soft, and ecologically sound!
A SMALL WRAP (about 4.1 meters) is a good choice for anyone who is under 130 lbs and less than 5'8 and want to have shorter tails or less fabric to handle, or for anyone who wants to have a very portable wrap that folds up small.
A MEDIUM WRAP (around 4.6 meters) is a good choice for most people. This size will allow you to do most of the popular wrap carries for people up to about 6 ft and 180 lbs.
A LARGE WRAP (5 to 5.2 meters) is great for anyone taller than 6 ft and/or heavier than 180 lbs who would like to use the full range of possible carries, including the wrap cross carries.
Choose an EXTRA-SMALL WRAP (3.6 meters) if you want to do short carries only, such as the hip cross carry, abbreviated front wrap cross carry, kangaroo carry, or rucksack carry. 3.6 meters is a great size for faster and cooler carries with fewer layers.
A REBOZO LENGTH WRAP (about 2.7 meters) is perfect if you only want to use one-shoulder rebozo carries,
such as the hip or cradle carry, or for a two shouldered Reinforced Rear Rebozo Rucksack. This is another great choice for
a highly portable wrap, and a cooler wrapping choice in hot weather.
Choose a bigger or smaller wrap to share with a person of a different size, to use with carries that use more or less fabric, or to have shorter or longer tails. More information about wrap sizes.
